The behavior of student employees while working for ASU creates an impression of the university and affects university public relations. Student employees, as representatives of the university, are expected:

  1. to behave in a pleasant and courteous manner toward all faculty, staff, students, and visitors

    and

  2. to abide by university and department work standards, practices, and policies to include but not limited to USI 104–01, “Student Code of Conduct and Student Disciplinary Procedures,” and USI 104–02, “Handling Disruptive, Threatening, or Violent Individuals on Campus.”

Failure to act in such a manner will be cause for disciplinary action or termination.

Students who participate in the student employment program are responsible for effectively managing academic work, employment, and other activities.

Student Employment, in consultation with academic advisors, may advise or require students on academic probation to limit their employment hours.
