To deny an undergraduate student duplicate credit for duplicate course work

Policy
[horizontal rule]

A student may not repeat for credit a course in which he or she earned a grade of “C” or better.

The student is responsible for preventing duplication from occurring.

If duplicate course credit occurs, the University Registrar’s Office or Admission Services at the West campus will amend the student’s academic records to delete credit for the most recent of the duplicate courses.

  1. Do not register for a course that duplicates the work of a previous course taken for credit.

  1. Monitor the student’s records to verify that duplication of credit has not occurred.
If duplication of credit has occurred:
  1. Request that the Recording/Readmissions section or Admission Services at the West campus remove the duplication from the student’s record.
