The ASU Health Center (ASU HC) strives to maintain fees at a reasonable level to avoid creating a financial barrier for faculty, staff, and students, while maintaining a financially sound facility.
ASU HC participates in the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) Student Health Insurance Plan. ASU HC accepts all major health insurance plans so that patients can use their health insurance to pay for services. Patients may also pay cash, use a credit card, Sun Card, or have their student account charged for the cost of the services they receive. Fee schedule is based on the prevailing usual and customary fees for services and is available on request.
All undergraduate and graduate students taking at least one credit hour are charged a visit fee.
Faculty, staff, or students employed by the university are not charged a visit fee for any work-related injury. Visit fees for other individuals affiliated with ASU, including special program participants, visiting athletes, or international scholar researchers, are established by arrangement with the CHS.
Fees are charged for laboratory, X-ray, and pharmaceutical services, and for selected procedures and services such as specialist consultations. Fees are also charged for appointment no-shows.
