Based on changes in a student’s financial circumstances during an award period, and the availability of funds, individual Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP) awards may be adjusted.
The adjustments to FWSP awards may be initiated by:

The decision to increase or award FWSP funds to a student is based on confidential information submitted by the student or the student’s parents. Therefore, the reasons for an FWSP award adjustment will not be discussed with the student’s employer.
