Policy

Student employees are full-time, part-time, occasional, temporary, Federal Work-Study, or hourly employees who are enrolled as students at ASU. Student employees are not administrative, faculty, university staff, academic professional, or classified staff members of ASU and are not subject to the personnel policies for those employee classifications.

Student employees do not have a right to permanent or continuous employment. Although student employees do not have a right of employment beyond their stop dates, employers may choose to continue to employ specific students.
