SSM 204–03: Application for Graduation for Bachelor’s Candidates

Purpose

[horizontal rule]

To notify the Graduation Section that a bachelor’s candidate intends to complete all course work and requirements for graduation at the end of a specific semester

A bachelor’s degree candidate must apply for graduation by the deadline dates specified in the ASU General Catalog and the ASU Graduate Catalog or pay a late fee.

A degree candidate must pay the appropriate fees at the time of application.

  1. Pay the graduation fee at the Cashier’s Office and receive a receipt and a graduation survey.
  2. Bring the receipt and graduation survey to the Graduation Section.
Graduation Section/Registrar staff at any campus (Note that Polytechnic campus only accepts undergraduate applications for graduation)
  1. Collect survey and give the student an application to fill out.

  1. Fill out and sign the application.

  1. Check the receipt, name and address information, GPA, and resident hours.
  2. Record fee paid amount on application.
  3. Give the student an honor card if he or she is eligible for honors.
  4. Verify if the student is transferring in any hours.
  5. Initial the application and record the date.
  6. Record and file a copy of the application for processing in the semester in which the student has indicated on the form.
