SSM 201–04 Table

If requesting an override, the student should request approval from the department offering the class. If requesting an overload, the student should request approval from the department, college, or advising office of the student’s major.

If the request is approved, the department approving the override or overload enters approval information in OASIS, or completes and stamps an override or overload authorization form.

If given an override or overload authorization form, the student takes it to any registrar site (the Records Information counter at the Tempe campus or Registration Services at the West, Polytechnic, or Downtown Phoenix campus):

  1. the override or overload authorization form
  2. an approved Enrollment Request form

    and

  3. a photo ID.

University Registrar’s Office staff processes the transaction and prints the study list. The student remains at the site to review the study list for accuracy.

If the approval is entered in OASIS, the student may take an approved Enrollment Request form and a photo ID to any registrar site (the Records Information counter at the Tempe campus or Registration Services at the West, Polytechnic, or Downtown Phoenix campus). University Registrar’s Office staff processes the transaction, prints the study list, and reviews it for accuracy.

If the student prefers, he or she may register or add a course online at My ASU. The student must pay the fees by the fee payment deadline.
