Print Letters to the Editor

The writer delivers a typed, double-spaced letter to the Student Media information desk in the basement of Matthews Center, Tempe campus, and presents a photo ID.

State Press staff determines if the letter will be accepted for publication, edits the letter as necessary, and publishes it.

Electronic Letters to the Editor

The writer sends an e-mail to the editor through the current editor’s e-mail address or to letters.editor@asu.edu. The e-mail should include the writer’s name, affiliation with the university, class standing and major if applicable, and a phone number at which the letter may be verified.

State Press staff determine if the letter will be accepted for publication, verify the identity of the writer, edit the letter as necessary, and publish it.
