SSM 1201–02: ASU Health Service Fees
To establish the fees charged for services at ASU Health Services for students, faculty, and staff
ASU Health Services (ASUHS)
ASU Health Services (ASUHS) strives to maintain fees at a reasonable level to avoid creating a financial barrier for faculty, staff, and students, while maintaining a financially sound facility.
ASUHS participates in the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) Student Health Insurance Plan. ASUHS has developed a discount service plan called the ASU Bridge Plan to assist students who need care but have limited funding. ASUHS accepts most major health insurance plans so that patients can use health insurance to pay for services. A patient may also pay cash, use a credit card, or charge to one’s own student account the cost of services. The fee schedule is based on the prevailing usual and customary fees for services and is available on request.
All undergraduate and graduate students taking at least one credit hour are charged a visit fee.
Faculty, staff, or students employed by the university are not charged a visit fee for any work-related injury. Visit fees for other individuals affiliated with ASU, including special program participants, visiting athletes, or international scholar researchers, are established by arrangement with ASUHS.
Fees are charged for laboratory, digital imaging, and pharmaceutical services, and for selected procedures and services such as specialist consultations. Fees are also charged for appointment no-shows.
See the ASU Health Services website for additional information.
