SSM 1001–05 Table

The campus organization:

  1. requests an Events Guidelines packet from the appropriate University Housing staff member three weeks in advance of the event
  2. submits completed Event Guidelines for Facility Use, Campus Programs Guide, and Event Planning Checklist to the appropriate University Housing staff member two weeks in advance of the event

    and

  3. complies with all university, residence hall, on-campus housing facility, and outdoor activities area policies regarding security, scheduling, and use.
    Note: This may require that the campus organization representatives consult with the student organizations coordinator.

The appropriate University Housing staff member approves or disapproves the request and notifies the sponsoring organization of approval or disapproval.

If the event is approved, the appropriate University Housing staff member reviews use procedures with representatives of the campus organization and notifies the assistant director or designee of University Housing in writing 10 days in advance that the reservation request has been approved.
