Purpose

To allow employees to be absent from work for designated emergencies

Regular classified, service professional, and administrative employees

Policy

The university president or designee may grant an employee a temporary emergency leave of absence with or without pay, for a specified duration, for reasons that are in the best interest of the university or employees.
