SPP 313: Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection

Purpose

To state Arizona State University’s policies assuring nondiscriminatory services to persons with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in all university programs and activities

To create an aware, sensitive climate in the campus community that is inclusive of persons with HIV infection

and

To reduce the occurrence of HIV infection through active, effective educational programs

Policy

ASU’s policy for employees is contained in the Academic Affairs Manual—ACD 406, “Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection.” Employees with HIV infection who are requesting a reasonable accommodation to the university policies and procedures or other accommodations may contact the ADA Coordinator in the Office of Equity and Inclusion, Human Resources.
