The various receiving areas of the university do not have the space to store incoming freight. Departments must accept delivery of incoming freight within 30 days of receipt at a university receiving area. Departments may manage this process by requesting that a particular shipment be delivered not earlier than and not later than specific dates.

Exception

The manager of the respective receiving area may extend this time limit. Requests are to be made in writing prior to receipt of the incoming freight.
