Purchasing and Business Service personnel participated on a Total Quality Service Team to simplify the process of retaining consultants and independent contractors while still complying with the university procurement code established by the Board of Regents, Arizona conflict of interest laws, and the federal tax code.

Consultants and independent contractors will be retained through the procedures on the Purchasing and Business Services Web site.
