PDP 003: Police Department Directory

The ASU Police Department (ASU PD) provides public safety and law enforcement to the university community, as outlined in the introduction. The department is committed to the welfare of the community.

The ASU Police Department supports the academic and research objectives of the university by providing a wide range of community-oriented services designed to contribute to a safe university environment. These services include, but are not limited to: education and compliance programs regarding crime prevention; personal and property safety; preventive patrols; criminal investigations; traffic and criminal code enforcement; university rules, and active shooter/workplace violence training.

There is at least one facility at each campus dedicated to housing members of the police department. Additional “outreach” offices have been created on several of the campuses in an effort to reunite members of the department with the community we serve.

Neighborhood Community Offices have police officers and police aides located in the following buildings on Tempe campus: Adelphi Commons, Manzanita, Hassayampa, and McClintock. Schedules vary.

On West campus police officers and police aides may be located at the UCB Information Desk. Schedules vary.

On Polytechnic campus police officers and police aides may be located in Room 122 of the Freshman Hall. Schedules vary.
