University employees transferring equipment
University personnel are responsible for notifying the ASU sponsored projects officer and sponsored property coordinator when sponsored-owned equipment is being transferred to another university.
Equipment is generally transferred because faculty members move themselves and their research to other universities. Shipping or freight charges will be paid for by the university receiving the property.
The department/employee requests an equipment transfer authorization from Property Control.
Property Control requests, in writing, the equipment transfer from the sponsor.
