ICA 404: Hazing

Policy

Hazing in any form is prohibited for student-athletes. The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and ASU strongly disapprove of hazing because of its potential detrimental effects on students’ academic pursuits and mental, emotional, and physical health.

Should a student-athlete violate the Student Code of Conduct found in the University Student Initiatives Policies and Procedures Manual—USI 104–01 regarding the university hazing policy (USI 104–03, “Hazing Prevention”), he or she will be subject to sanctions under ICA 401, “Student-Athlete Code of Conduct.”
