Sports Gambling

Department of Intercollegiate Athletics staff and student-athletes are prohibited from participating in sports gambling activities.

Specifically, student-athletes and staff shall not knowingly:

1. provide to individuals in organized gambling activities information concerning any intercollegiate athletics competition
2. solicit any bet on any intercollegiate athletics team
3. bet on any team representing ASU
4. solicit or accept a bet on any intercollegiate competition for any item that has tangible value (e.g., cash, shirt, dinner)

   or

5. participate in any gambling activity that involves intercollegiate athletics or professional athletics through a bookmaker, parlay card, or any other method of organized gambling.

Student-athletes are also responsible for following the ASU Student Code of Conduct in the Student Services Manual—SSM 104–01 regarding sports gambling.

Student-athletes are responsible for following the ASU Student Code of Conduct in the Student Services Manual—SSM 104–01 regarding other forms of gambling.
