ICA 202: Release of Student Academic Information

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics conforms to the university policy on release of student information required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (Buckley Amendment). This policy can be accessed in the Student Services Manual—SSM 107–01, “Release of Student Information.”

Annually, student-athletes sign a Buckley Amendment waiver to allow Department of Intercollegiate Athletics officials access to grade information for the purpose of monitoring athletics eligibility and academic progress.
