FIN 106: Month-End Closing

Purpose

To describe the month-end closing date for the Advantage accounting system

Policy

The Advantage accounting system month-end closing date is three work days after the calendar month end; however, if Financial Services determines that the closing needs to be delayed for a particular month, notification of the change will be sent by e-mail. Changes or updates to scheduled close dates are posted on the “Financial Services News” Web site.
