FAC 201: General and Auxiliary Services

Purpose

To differentiate between services to general campus users and to auxiliary units

Policy

Facilities Management provides services to both general campus users and to auxiliary units. Services to general campus users may be billable or nonbillable (see FAC 202–01, “Billable Services”). Services to auxiliary units are always billable and may be performed on a routine basis or as specially requested jobs and projects.

Auxiliaries

ASU auxiliary units derive a substantial portion of their budgets from revenues generated from providing goods and/or services to the university community and/or the general public. Examples are listed below:

1. ASU Public Events
2. Food service contractors or concessionaires
3. Intercollegiate Athletics
4. Memorial Union
5. Parking and Transit Services
6. Student Development and Residential Life, including fraternities and sororities
7. Stadium Management
8. ASU Bookstore.
