FAC 110: Equipment Cooling

Purpose

To conserve water in order to stay within ASU’s allotment

Policy

Domestic water shall not be used to cool equipment of any kind.

All equipment cooling shall be accomplished by the use of a self-contained unit or by the installation of a heat exchanger connected to campus chilled water.

Departments found using and dumping either domestic water or chilled water to cool equipment will be notified of the violation, and the equipment will be disconnected.
