The university has a standard for its specific models of campus benches, ash urns, trash receptacles, and pedestrian walkway and parking lot light poles and luminaries, etc. It is the intent of standardizing campus amenities to have a clean, well maintained campus setting, as well as an ordered sense of continuity and high sense of design aesthetics in campus amenity features.

The university endeavors to create, manage, and maintain functional, cost effective, and aesthetically appropriate outdoor campus amenities. These amenities serve as an integrating element to a campus. Site-specific special campus amenities shall be implemented in accordance with the university master plan and the consultant manual.
