The requestor submits easement or right-of-way request to Capital Planning Services, Engineering Services, or University Real Estate Development Office (URED) for processing, using the requisite form.

URED submits the easement, legal description, and impact statement to the executive vice president and chief finance officer for signature.
The executive vice president for Administration and Finance approves/disapproves the conditions of the easement request.
If disapproved, the executive vice president for Administration and Finance returns the easement request to URED, which notifies the requestor that the easement request has been disapproved and informs him or her that the easement may be resubmitted, allowing for new conditions.
The requestor begins the process again.
If approved, the executive vice president for Administration and Finance signs the easement request and returns it to URED for processing.
URED arranges for recording the document with Maricopa County and sends copies to the requestor.
URED maintains a copy of the document in the department records.
