Minor Capital Projects

The assistant director of the Capital Programs Management Group (CPMG) shall determine the necessity for outside professional and consultant services for all minor capital remodeling, renovation, and construction projects, i.e., projects with an estimated total cost of less than $5 million. Cost consultants may be hired to provide estimates based on the approved programs.

Major Capital Projects

Professional and consultant services shall be used for all major capital remodeling, renovation, and construction projects, i.e., projects with an estimated total project cost of $5 million or more.
