CPM 307–04: User Department Evaluations

Purpose

To obtain user department evaluations of the capital project management services provided by the Capital Programs Management Group

Policy

At the completion of each phase of a capital project managed by the Capital Programs Management Group (CPMG), the CPMG will request the user department to complete a user feedback survey form. There are two forms, one for the design management process (see CPM 307–04A) and the other for the construction administration process (see CPM 307–04B). Completion of the User Feedback Survey for Design Management is requested at the completion of the programming phase, schematic design phase, design development phase, construction document phase, and after the contract award. Completion of the User Survey for Construction Administration will be requested when construction is 50 percent complete, 100 percent complete, and after the user department has occupied the facility.

Definitions

Capital Project

A construction or renovation project with total project labor costs greater than $25,000.

Major Capital Project

A project with total costs of $5 million or more.

Director for the Capital Programs Management Group (CPMG)	Provide a user survey form to the user department.
User department	Complete the survey and return it to the director of the Capital Programs Management Group
Director for the CPMG and assistant director, Design Management and Construction Administration	Review the user survey, take appropriate action, and file the survey.
