ACD 305–11: Commencement

Purpose

To distribute responsibility for participation in commencement exercises

Policy

Commencement exercises are held at the end of each semester. Faculty members designated by the deans of the colleges are expected to participate in the academic procession at commencement in appropriate academic costume. Other members of the instructional staff are urged to participate but are not required to do so. The ASU Bookstore arranges for the rental or sale of gowns and hoods.
