Purpose

To ensure fair purchasing procedures for materials, services, and equipment

Policy

The university will not purchase any supplies, materials, equipment, and/or contractor-type services from a faculty member or academic professional unless the purchase:

1. results from a competitive bidding procedure

   and

2. has been approved by the appropriate provost or vice president(s).
